2. About AUCTIGO
AUCTIGO is a digital B2B marketplace for professional trading in smartphones, consumer electronics and related services. Businesses can publish offers, purchase requests, auctions and services, find suitable business partners and use communication and account-related functions.
3. Personal data we may process
Depending on how AUCTIGO is used, we may process:
- account and authentication data;
- business contact information;
- telephone numbers and messaging identifiers;
- marketplace content submitted by users;
- support and transactional communications;
- technical data such as IP address, browser identifiers, timestamps and security logs;
- local browser identifiers used for authentication flows;
- WhatsApp Business Platform data when a user or business explicitly uses or authorizes the WhatsApp integration.
4. Purposes of processing
Personal data may be processed to:
- provide, authenticate and secure AUCTIGO accounts;
- operate marketplace functions;
- provide transactional communications and customer support;
- operate authorized WhatsApp Business Platform integrations;
- prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access;
- maintain technical reliability and troubleshoot errors;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta
AUCTIGO may use the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta for account-related, transactional and support communications.
When this functionality is used, data such as telephone numbers, message metadata and message content relevant to the requested AUCTIGO function may be processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
AUCTIGO accesses WhatsApp Business assets only where the relevant business has explicitly authorized that access through Meta's onboarding and permission mechanisms.
6. Service providers
AUCTIGO uses service providers to operate its technical infrastructure. This currently includes IONOS for website hosting and Railway for application, database and backend infrastructure.
These providers may process personal data where this is technically necessary to provide their services.
7. Legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, processing may be based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide a requested service or perform a contract, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests such as platform security and abuse prevention, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is required, or Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where processing is required by law.
8. Storage and retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as required for the purposes for which it was collected, for operation and security of the service, or to meet legal obligations. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data and the relevant AUCTIGO function.
9. Data transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Germany or the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future.

11. Security
